Ways to Train your Mind

Our thought process and mind activities do have a direct impact on how do we lead our life. There are ways to train our mind and thought process .A sound mind steers us to the right direction. A competent person with clutter mind can not be successful. Our mind has got immense power, a positive and trained mind will let you achieve anything in life you wish for. The power of subconscious mind which unfortunately many of us do not know how to use it to its fullest potential.

We come across thousand of thoughts everyday, we experience productive thoughts as well as unwanted thoughts. Thoughts lead to action and action determines our future so it is utmost important how we develop a right mindset. A clutter free and calm mind always shows you the right path, increases your focus and makes you determined and courageous so that you can face any adversities in life upfront. A peaceful mind brings positivity, makes you more resilient and adaptable in any changing situations and will let you live a more healthy and fulfilling life. These are some of the important activities discussed which will help you to train your mind and will let you use your mind power to your advantage if you practice these in your day to day life.

Meditate in the morning: We should start our day in the morning with meditation. Initially when we start meditation, we can experience different thoughts coming in our mind ,let these thoughts come, do not engage with these thoughts , you should focus on your breath. You can start meditating with OM mantra or any other soothing music. Meditation will enhance your focus, attention , gradually you will start feeling good about you . Similarly, Medication brings self-awareness. You would feel less bothered about unwanted thoughts and imaginations.

Mind your Thoughts: Thoughts make us who we are. We should be careful about thoughts coming in our mind. If we give power to our unwanted thoughts then it will start dominating us and will eventually make our life miserable. Avoid overthinking, overthinking leads to negative thought. We should cultivate good thoughts that make you happy and motivated if you are motivated from within then you can achieve anything in life.

Pay Attention to every detail: We should develop this habit of paying attention to every details. Our attention will allow us to focus on the task in hand , it will help us to avoid distractions so that we can focus on one thing at a time. A person with good listening skills and focus can give undivided attention to something and thus empowering his memory power. Likewise, students who pay attention are having far better memory then those who struggles to pay attention. An attentive mind absorbs things quickly, increases concentration and can retain contents in the mind for long.

Work Out daily: Physical exercise will keep you fit & healthy. we can work out half an hour in the morning as well as in the evening. Healthy body leads to healthy mind. Regular work out seems to cut the risk of developing mental illness. Physical activities like jogging, running, swimming, cycling, walking, dancing, have been proved to reduce anxiety and depression to a great extend and promote emotional well being.

Take healthy diet: Healthy diet keeps us strong , fit and disease free. Well balanced diet increases concentration power and attention span of a human. Some of brain’s healthy foods are Beans, Olive oil, Green vegetable leafs, Salad, Almonds, Fish, Whole grain which we should include in our day to day diet.

Play Games : Engaging oneself in any game is always good for mind and body. Playing games, solving puzzles increases brain functions, enhances our attention, memory and our concentration. Any kind of Sports keep us active, flexible and energetic. Life looks more refreshing, positive and engaging whenever we involve ourselves in any games.

Set Life Goal and explore things: Persons having certain goal in life remain focused and strive hard to achieve it. People who are goal oriented keeps on exploring things, remain engaged and puts his best efforts to achieve it. Goal gives us direction and motivates us to take up challenges thus our mind would not wander. We should practice setting up realistic goal and plan out ways to achieve the goal.

Focus on brighter side: Mind should be receptive. We should always look at the brighter side of something, it sends a positive signal to our brain. Quit negative thinking, It is equally important to practice positive self talk to elevate our mood. When we start thinking positive then everything seems falling in place, we can see the possibilities. We feel motivated and energetic and our mind steers us to take a plan of action in that direction. Positive thinking gives us more confidence and makes our mind solution oriented. We feel less stressed and healthy with positive vibes in our life.

Be Joyful : People who remain happy, the world around them looks fabulous and ecstatic. Happiness is a matter of choice. Happy people always smiles. We should do whats makes us happy, Practicing happiness promotes emotional well being, cheerful mind and sound health. Now a days people are leading a typical lifestyle, everybody remains busy in their own world so engrossed in their work, they hardly have time to spend moments with others and that is why people are suffering from various mental diseases. Keep smiling you can find happiness in small things . Cutting jokes , watching cartoon or comedy movies always elevate our mood. Find a reason to remain happy. Happiness boosts our energy, mental health and drive success.
